Mr.Tino Bauerlein from Schnelldorf, Germany will never forget
the 11th of may. The fight lasted 105 minutes, before he could land the new sportfishing
world record under assistance of his father and a neighbour. The luck was on his side,
because he used a 0,08 mm/13 lbs (!) braided line. The bait was a bundle of corn. Silver
Carp normally feed on phytoplankton and zooplankton, swimming just beneath the water
surface. But specialists catch them with “normal” baits, also boilies.
